CONTROL ROOM
Control Room started as a collaboration project between Oli Sorenson's visual edits, Adrienne Hart's choreography and October's music (Julian Raymond Smith). The work is structured around a remix of a previously released October track, of the same title. The final piece is heavily edited with add-on graphics and many time lapsed sequences. Initiated in 2009, Control Room continued as a larger body of works which combined dance, video and sometimes architecture. 2011's edition was especially created to fit into a mapping project at Quartier Des Spectacles, Montreal, in collaboration with Canadian choreographer Martin Bélanger, which was projected on the city's largest bell tower.
